In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of marine vessels and related equipment. Your expertise will ensure that boats operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, providing exceptional service to our valued customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art tools and technology in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where your mechanical skills will make a real difference. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair engine systems, electrical components, rigging, and mechanical parts of boats using schematics and technical manuals Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, and system inspections to ensure optimal vessel performance Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, calipers, and precision measuring instruments for assembly and fabrication tasks Conduct heavy lifting and maneuvering of boat components safely during repairs or installations Interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot wiring issues and electrical failures Fabricate or modify sheet metal parts as needed for repairs or customizations Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports on all maintenance activities performed Skills Proven experience as a service technician or boat mechanic with strong mechanical knowledge Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately Electrical experience including soldering, wiring repairs, and troubleshooting using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools Familiarity with rigging techniques and marine systems installation or repair Experience with vehicle maintenance principles applicable to marine vessels Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, calipers, and other precision instruments Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and welding techniques for structural repairs Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during maintenance tasks Experience working in military or industrial environments is a plus but not required Join our team to bring your mechanical expertise into the exciting world of marine vessels!
