Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Marine Boat Mechanic, where your expertise will keep our fleet of boats operating at peak performance! This energized role is perfect for skilled technicians eager to work on a variety of marine vessels. You'll be instrumental in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining boat systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Applicant will have experience with Yamaha and Suzuki outboard engines. Duties Conduct inspections of our rental boats to ensure all are in working order. Perform repairs and maintenance if needed Troubleshoot potential issues Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting repairs performed and parts used. Support customer service efforts by explaining repairs clearly and providing recommendations for ongoing maintenance needs. Assist with vessel rigging, assembly, disassembly, and general maintenance tasks to ensure optimal vessel performance. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic with a strong background in marine maintenance. of Yamaha and Suzuki outboard engines. Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical assembly processes. Knowledge of marine-specific systems including engines, electrical wiring, rigging components, and hull structures. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly; comfortable working in outdoor marine environments in various weather conditions. 40 hours per week with occasional overtime Applicant must have a valid drivers license and must be able to pass a drug test Applicant must live in Marathon, FL 33050
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
