Bay Area DockServ Mobile Marine is growing and we are looking for a skilled Mobile Marine Technician to join our team. DockServ is a professional mobile marine service company specializing in service, diagnostics, and repairs for modern outboard powered vessels. Our technicians work directly at the customer's dock, marina, or lift, providing convenient and high quality marine service throughout the Tampa Bay area. Why Work at DockServ Work directly on the water at marinas, docks, and lifts Mobile service environment with independence and variety in your day Work on modern engines and marine electronics Organized work orders and professional diagnostic processes Consistent workflow with a growing customer base Opportunity to grow with a fast expanding marine service company What You'll Be Doing Diagnose, service, and repair outboard engines and marine systems Perform routine maintenance such as annual services, fluids, filters, water pumps, and tune ups Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and fuel system issues Use manufacturer diagnostic software to identify engine faults Inspect vessels and document findings with notes and photos Perform sea trials when necessary to verify proper operation after repairs Communicate findings clearly with management and customers Maintain a clean and organized mobile work vehicle and tools Systems and Equipment You May Work With Yamaha outboards including YDIS diagnostic systems Mercury and Suzuki outboard engines Marine fuel systems and filtration systems Garmin electronics and navigation systems Electrical systems including batteries, charging systems, breakers, and wiring Trim tabs, pumps, lighting, and onboard accessories Qualifications Marine mechanical experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with outboard engines such as Yamaha, Mercury, or Suzuki Knowledge of marine electrical systems Ability to work independently and manage service calls Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a marine environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Professional attitude and strong communication skills Ideal Candidate Takes pride in doing quality work Detail oriented and organized Comfortable interacting with customers Enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems Motivated to grow with a company that is expanding Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for advancement as the company grows Work throughout the Tampa Bay boating community About DockServ DockServ Mobile Marine provides professional Service • Diagnostics • Repairs directly at the customer's dock or marina.
