Overview Join our dynamic team as a Golf Cart Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional maintenance and repair services for electric and gas-powered golf carts. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, and engine systems to ensure our fleet operates smoothly and reliably. Your expertise will help enhance customer satisfaction by providing top-tier service and ensuring all vehicles meet safety and performance standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your automotive repair skills in a specialized environment focused on recreational and utility vehicles. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on golf carts, including electrical systems, engines, brakes, suspension, and mechanical components using advanced automotive diagnostics tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks such as engine system repairs, brake repairs, suspension work, welding, soldering, and assembly of vehicle parts. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to disassemble, repair, replace, or upgrade vehicle components efficiently. Troubleshoot electrical issues through electrical diagnostics and wiring repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Conduct regular vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake adjustments, tire replacements, and system inspections to uphold safety standards. Assist with all-terrain vehicle (ATV) repair experience or motorcycle repair tasks as needed to support diverse vehicle types within the fleet. Maintain detailed service records, update maintenance logs, and communicate repair progress clearly to team members or customers. Support sales efforts by providing technical knowledge on vehicle features or upgrades when interacting with customers or clients. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with automotive engine systems repair and electrical diagnostics. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and mechanical systems repair. Experience in all-terrain vehicle (ATV) or motorcycle repair is highly desirable. Skilled in brake repair, suspension work, welding, soldering, assembly processes, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Familiarity with automotive repair standards and safety protocols is essential. Prior experience working in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred but not required.
