Job Description

Small Engine Mechanic (223666-1) We are seeking a reliable and skilled professional to join our team. This is a "boots-on-the-ground" role where you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our rental fleet. You won't just be behind the controls; you will be the expert responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and ensuring our equipment is always rental-ready. Hours Full-time, Monday - Friday, 6:30AM - 3:30PM Location Honolulu, Oahu Pay $25 to $34 an hour
Responsibilities Operations:
Safely operate heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and other rental machinery.
Diagnostics & Repair:
Perform comprehensive diagnostic and repair work on equipment, covering mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related systems.
Fleet Maintenance:
Execute maintenance tasks for both heavy equipment and small engines to ensure peak performance.
Quality Control:
Conduct rigorous pre-rental and post-rental inspections to ensure equipment safety and reliability for our customers.
Inventory Management:
Take ownership of shop supplies and manage part inventory to ensure repairs are never delayed.
Qualifications Verifiable Experience:
Must have a proven track record of previous, verifiable experience in heavy equipment operation and mechanical repair.
Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift and move 75lbs on an ongoing, daily basis.
Licensing:
Must possess a valid, clean driver's license.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in small engine mechanics and general shop diagnostic tools.
Reliability:
A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently to keep our rental fleet moving.
