GENERAL JOB SUMMARY
Under limited supervision, performs technical support for motorcycle staff and students of the CE Transportation department. Responsibilities include assisting the department manager and instructors with motorcycle fleet equipment management and repairs. This position requires a positive presence, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. This individual must be able to work with a high degree of independent judgment and decision-making capability within the context of the assigned duties. Contact with Motorcycle Instructors, suppliers, and Transportation Manager is frequent, and the individual must possess a strong and positive customer service approach to enhance student success.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure customer service for the entire Department and campus community Engage in Departmental problem-solving for equipment issues; makes recommendations for efficiencies and advancement regarding equipment Maintain a quality inventory database for maintenance parts, equipment, and material. Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues Conduct quality repairs aiming for maximum reliability Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components Keep logs of work and report on issues Perform other related work duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH/WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION
Position involves constant (67-100%) reaching, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling and exertion. Frequent (34-66%) walking, standing, and grasping.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalency required. Valid Motorcycle License Valid Driver's License This position requires a valid driver's license and participation in continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring. Your driving record will be verified initially and monitored on an ongoing basis as a condition of employment.
