Job Description
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Marine Mechanic to join our team at a busy full-service marina. The ideal candidate has experience working on boats, marine engines, and related systems, and takes pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines and boat systems Perform routine service and seasonal maintenance Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, cooling, ignition systems, etc. Service sterndrives, outboards, and inboard engines Perform winterization, commissioning, and inspections Install and repair marine accessories and components Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate clearly with customers and team members Qualifications Experience as a marine mechanic, automotive/diesel mechanic, or related trade Knowledge of MerCruiser, Mercury, Volvo Penta, Yamaha, or similar systems preferred Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a marina/shop environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, steady work Friendly team environment Opportunity for advancement Willing to train the right candidate Pay $25-45/hour based on experience To apply, please send your resume and experience to Luke - luke@forestviewmarina.com or call 6302409921
