Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Marine Varnish/Finish Technician and become a vital part of our boat restoration and finishing operation! In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality varnishes, finishes, and coatings to marine vessels, ensuring they meet the highest standards of durability and aesthetic appeal. We are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship. Duties Prepare surfaces meticulously through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal adhesion of varnishes and finishes Set up and safely use ladders and scaffolding Apply marine-grade varnishes and paints with precision and consistency Collaborate with team members on project timelines and quality standards to ensure timely completion of each vessel finish Requirements Experience in marine varnish application or furniture finishing is preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates Familiarity with surface preparation techniques including masking, sanding, varnishing and painting Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Join us in delivering top-tier marine finishes for high end clients ! Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
