Our client is looking for an experienced, well-rounded Marine Service Technician who enjoys a mix of diagnostics, mechanical work, and hands-on time in the yard. This is a role for someone who takes pride in solving problems and wants to be part of a growing operation that is included in an intimate Chespeake Bay Marina portfolio.

Tucked along a quiet, protected creek just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay, this opportunity offers more than just a job. The South River is just a short ride to the beautiful Thomas Point Lighthouse and offers an unmatched boating community. With many creeks, parks and incredible scenery, the South River is a great place work and call home.

What This Role InvolvesThis is a hands-on technician role supporting a range of service work across multiple systems.

You'll be responsible for:

Diagnosing and repairing marine engines and systemsWorking with inboard and outboard enginesTroubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systemsCompleting routine service and preventative maintenanceSupporting a clean, organized, and efficient service operationSupporting the operations of the yard as needed, including travel lift operationWinterizing and commissioningRequirements We're looking for technicians who are confident in their abilities and take pride in their work.3+ years of hands-on marine service experienceStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple systemsExperience with Mercury/MerCruiser and Yanmar enginesExposure to plumbing and HVAC systems is highly valuedAbility to work independently and contribute to a teamAbility to operate a marine travel liftCertifications (Valued, Not Required) Mercury / MerCruiserABYC Systems or similarPaid Time OffUpcoming 401K$35 - $45 per hour to commensurate with experienceHousing available for negotiation#J-18808-Ljbffr Job Description Are you the kind of technician who doesn't wait to be told what to do, you just dig in and figure it out?
