In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of small engine equipment including lawn mowers, chainsaws, snow blowers, generators, and other outdoor power equipment. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on small engines Conduct routine maintenance (oil changes, spark plugs, filters, etc.) Inspect equipment for safety and functionality Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used Communicate with customers about repair needs and timelines Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements Proven experience as a small engine mechanic (or similar role) Knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license (optional, if applicable) Preferred Qualifications Small engine repair certification Experience in a repair shop or outdoor power equipment dealership Customer service experience Benefit Health insurance (Medical, Dental & Vision) Paid time off Retirement plan with Company Match Ongoing training
