Marine Mechanic / Powersports TechnicianCharter Marine LLC - Annandale, MN Up to $112,000+ annually with overtime, monthly incentives, company vehicle opportunities, and year-round employment. Overview Charter Marine is seeking an experienced Marine Mechanic / Powersports Technician to join our growing team in Annandale, Minnesota. We service over 400 boats and personal watercraft annually and are looking for a motivated technician who enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of marine engines and watercraft. This is a full-time, year-round position with NO winter layoffs , 4 day work weeks in the winter competitive pay, overtime opportunities, monthly performance incentives, and advancement potential.

Perform routine maintenance including annual services, 100-hour, 300-hour, and 500-hour services. Utilize diagnostic software and scan tools to identify engine and electrical faults. Service and repair Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Volvo Penta, PCM, Indmar, and MerCruiser products. Perform propeller inspections, lower unit repairs, water pump services, steering repairs, and rigging work. Conduct battery testing, charging system diagnostics, and electrical troubleshooting. Complete lake testing and operational testing after repairs. Document findings, labor hours, parts used, and recommendations on repair orders. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and maintenance recommendations. New Boat and Pontoon Rigging Qualifications Minimum 3 years of marine, powersports, automotive, or related mechanical experience preferred. Strong understanding of marine engines and electrical systems. Experience using diagnostic software and scan tools. Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Experience troubleshooting fuel, ignition, cooling, and charging systems. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds. Valid driver's license required. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
