Job Description
Marine Technician Mechanic position will include, but is not limited to, service/repair work on customer boats and motors both at the shop building and on the water in the slip (including warranty repair work), test driving boats on the water upon completion of repairs, pulling and launching boats, maintenance and repair of various company equipment, maintaining a clean work area, and more. Applicants should meet some basic job requirements such as: Excellent customer service is of utmost importance, therefore applicants should have a positive, friendly demeanor and attitude, be self motivated and able to work alone or with other employees, have general mechanical knowledge and several years experience working on boats a must, mechanical training/schooling required; marine technician certification/schooling not required but strongly preferred, have or be willing to obtain a boater's license if born after 1984, be able to legibly fill out a repair work order with information pertaining to the job, have reliable transportation to and from work, be trustworthy, reliable, honest, and have a general good work ethic. Pay will be based on experience. Weekends are required. We are looking to hire 1, possibly 2 people to fill these positions immediately.
