This position requires frequent travel to customer locations including shipyards, ports, marine terminals, industrial waterfront facilities, and vessels. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and is comfortable working independently in the field while representing the company professionally. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Travel to customer locations throughout the United States to inspect, service, repair, and install marine equipment and systems. Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on marine cranes, lifting equipment, access systems, and other marine industry equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades. Perform equipment testing and operational checks to verify safe and proper performance. Identify worn, damaged, or unsafe components and recommend corrective actions. Read and interpret drawings, equipment manuals, inspection reports, and service procedures. Complete field service reports and inspection documentation. Communicate professionally with vessel personnel, terminal operators, maintenance teams, and customers. Follow all company, customer, and marine facility safety requirements. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance or repair experience required. Experience in marine, industrial, heavy equipment, crane, maintenance, or related industries preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is beneficial. Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform field repairs. Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel. Ability to work at heights, on docks, aboard vessels, and in industrial environments. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Strong communication and customer service skills. Preferred Experience Marine industry experience. Crane inspection or maintenance experience. Welding, rigging, or mechanical repair experience. Experience reading mechanical or electrical drawings. Familiarity with hydraulic system installation and service.
