Full-time Job Description:
Works with a team of product specialists in the construction, testing and evaluation of new models with a focus on boat mechanical and electrical systems, outboard engine rigging, and boat testing. Provides assistance with the development of new designs, product specifications and bill of materials. Works with vendors on the implementation of new parts and accessories. Provides training, technical assistance and troubleshooting support to production personnel as needed. This is a hands-on job with physical requirements including climbing ladders, working in tight spaces and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required skills:
The candidate should have a strong technical aptitude, with a fundamental knowledge of marine electrical and mechanical systems including outboard engine rigging. Experience with boat operation, boat trailering and use of hand and power tools. Good verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) are necessary. Skills that are beneficial but not required include: experience installing marine electronics, working with fiberglass and using CAD software (Autocad 2D and Solidworks).
Pay:
From $26.00 per hour
