Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Motorcycle Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service to motorcycle enthusiasts. PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE SUNDAYS AND MONDAYS OFF
Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on motorcycles using specialized automotive and motorcycle diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance including engine work, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and electrical system troubleshooting. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Inspect vehicles thoroughly to ensure all safety standards are met before returning motorcycles to customers. Assist customers by explaining repair procedures, offering maintenance advice, and providing excellent customer service to foster trust and satisfaction. Complete detailed service reports, work orders, and documentation for all repairs performed. Support the dealership's sales efforts by recommending necessary upgrades or accessories during service visits. Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a focus on motorcycle repair is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of motorcycle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, electrical wiring, and chassis components. Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering devices, and assembly processes. Ability to lift heavy parts safely during vehicle maintenance tasks; heavy lifting is often required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety protocols; experience in brake repair and suspension work is a plus.
