Job Description

Marine Shop Technician Mercury & Volvo Penta Certified Join one of the region's most established and respected boat dealerships. We're looking for an experienced Marine Shop Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working in a professional, team-oriented environment. If you're Mercury and/or Volvo Penta certified and passionate about boating, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain Mercury Marine and Volvo Penta engines. Perform routine maintenance including tune-ups, winterizations, and scheduled services. Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, steering, cooling, and propulsion systems. Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications. Install marine accessories, electronics, and mechanical components. Inspect boats and prepare them for customer delivery. Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation. Keep the shop clean, organized, and safety compliant. Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair recommendations and timelines. Qualifications Mercury Marine certification preferred. Volvo Penta certification preferred. 3+ years of professional marine repair experience. Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills. Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletins. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
