Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and dependable Marine Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of marine vessels and equipment. Your expertise will help ensure boats and marine systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably for our customers. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on marine vessels and equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot gasoline and diesel engines, propulsion systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and onboard components Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Install, repair, and replace marine rigging components while ensuring proper alignment and safety standards Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, calipers, and precision measuring instruments Assist with vessel assembly, disassembly, and equipment installation Safely perform heavy lifting and material handling as required Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and work documentation Follow all safety procedures and industry best practices Qualifications Previous experience as a Marine Mechanic, Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or similar mechanical role Strong understanding of marine engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues Experience reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments Knowledge of marine rigging and sheet metal fabrication is preferred Experience with military, commercial, or industrial equipment is a plus Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable, year-round employment Opportunities for training and professional growth Hands-on work with a variety of marine vessels and equipment Supportive team environment Opportunity to work with cutting-edge marine technology If you are a motivated mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working around boats and marine equipment, we encourage you to apply today.
