Job Description
Job Summary Modern Yachts Hampton Bays is searching for a talented, driven marine mechanic to become a key part of our growing team. As a new boat dealership representing premier brands like Sea Ray, Edgewater, Nimbus, and Jupiter, we offer an exciting opportunity to work with some of the finest boats on the water in a quickly expanding industry. This is a full time, year-round position. Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM. Compensation $22 - $50 per hour. Compensation is dependent on experience and certification level. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines and related systems. Perform routine service, inspections, and troubleshooting. Work on Yamaha and Mercury outboards and associated components. Ensure all work meets safety and manufacturer standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Experience as a marina technician Yamaha and Mercury certification preferred. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must possess a reliable mode of transportation to get to work each day.
