Englund Marine, a leader in the Marine, Fishing, and Industrial industry, is looking for a reliable Raft Service Technician to join our team at our Warrenton, OR location. If you are an upbeat individual who likes working with the public and being a part of a growing company where your efforts can make a difference, then this is the job for you! A life raft service technician inspects, repairs, tests, and repacks marine life-saving rafts to ensure they work during emergencies. The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player who has a cheerful, upbeat personality and wants to be an active driver of the success of the company where they work! Once you have demonstrated proficiency in the core role responsibilities, the company will sponsor and require completion of manufacturer-required courses and certification. Duties include but are not limited to: Working with retail customers and our retail stores for their life raft needs Process customer orders using a computer system Purchase products directly from vendors Inspect, repair, test, and repack marine life-saving rafts to ensure they work during emergencies Test and Replace EPIRB Batteries

• Maintains workspace: Follows strict safety rules (SOLAS and ISO standards) and keeps tools clean

Skills Required:
KNOWLEDGE OF LIFE RAFTS A PLUS

Mechanical aptitude; Good with hand tools, pressure gauges, and leak-detection gear Attention to detail; Meticulous record-keeping and adherence to safety protocols Physical stamina; Ability to lift heavy gear and work in active shop or maritime environments Outstanding customer service skills Computer experience is a big plus!

Time Requirements:

Job is Monday - Friday Base hours are 7:30 am - 5:00 pm Longer hours are sometimes required during busy times or special events

Pay:

From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
