EQUIPMENT RENTAL CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB SUMMARY

JBZimmerman's has been serving the community since 1931 and provides excellent customer service throughout our organization. The divisions include Ace Hardware, Stihl and EGO outdoor power equipment, BBQ Headquarters, Ace Rental Dept, Major Appliance Sales and Service, Delivery and Installation and more. We are open 7 days a week and have an excellent team of 50+ employees who love the challenge of serving our customers. • . Applicant must be mechanically, small engine experience a plus and willing to work rotating evening and weekend shifts. Every 4th Sunday.

General Accountability:

Assist customers when picking up rental equipment to help with loading and hooking up equipment. Generate contracts, reservations on POS system. Answer calls. Check-in equipment when returned by customers and report any equipment needs to service department. Give customers thorough explanations about the operation of equipment at send out Fill propane tanks and assist with loading Sharpen chainsaw chain Repair and service small engines outdoor power equipment Willing to train further on small engine repair as directed by business Clean and service equipment as needed Assist with equipment prep for next day rentals Monitor rental equipment for any preventable breakdowns or repairs Assist mechanics with repairs as needed Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments an adhere to all policies and procedures Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of the company

Experience/Qualifications Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma Experience with computers, keyboard a must. Basic mechanical knowledge and experience Heavy lifting required The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
