Experienced small engine technician needed at Rhode Island Harvesting Company, Inc., a family owned and operated outdoor power equipment and tractor dealership located in Ashaway, RI. Job Description:

Repair and maintain outdoor power equipment (lawn mowers, tractors, trimmers, chainsaws, blowers, etc.), landscape power equipment and small construction equipment, both two cycle and four cycle, gasoline and diesel engines Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions through inspections and performing diagnostic testing Perform routine maintenance of equipment Set up new equipment Keep accurate records of jobs performed and write up work orders Full-time plus overtime

PM Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Must have own tools A minimum of 2 years experience as an outdoor power equipment technician is required Must be responsible, self-motivated and reliable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner Must be able to accurately and efficiently trouble shoot all types of two cycle and four cycle engines and their related equipment Must be able to efficiently use a computer for equipment diagnostics, parts lookup programs and computer based inventory systems Compensation is based upon experience.
