This leadership role is responsible for managing facility operations, project execution, financial performance, workforce development, and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with industry and government regulations. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with extensive ship repair experience, strong financial and operational acumen, and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all branch operations, personnel, and resources to achieve business objectives. Develop and execute strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the maritime and ship repair industry. Oversee project planning, execution, staffing, budgeting, and performance tracking. Manage branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue growth. Recruit, train, mentor, and develop management and production teams. Ensure compliance with OSHA, NAVSEA, USCG, ABS, SOLAS, and other applicable regulations. Analyze project performance, labor utilization, and financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with estimating, production, quality, and executive leadership teams to ensure successful project delivery. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications 10+ years of ship repair management experience
REQUIRED
Strong leadership experience managing multiple departments, projects, and personnel. Experience overseeing budgets, forecasting, profitability, and operational performance. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong knowledge of ship repair operations, workforce planning, and project execution. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed. Must be able to obtain

badges, if required Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance, if required Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred, but not required Experience supporting government, military, or commercial marine repair programs. Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations and government contracting requirements. Experience driving process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies. Work Environment This position requires work in both office and industrial shipyard environments. Candidates should be comfortable working around vessels, shipyard operations, and active production areas while adhering to all safety requirements.
