Monday-Friday | Day Shift | No Nights | No Weekends Work Around Some of the Best Boats on the Water At Charleston Marine, every boat that leaves our facility represents our reputation. Before a customer gets their boat back, someone has one final responsibility: Make sure it's clean, complete, and ready for the water. We're looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in doing quality work, and pays attention to the little things that others often miss. This is an active, hands-on position. If you'd rather be moving than sitting behind a desk, this could be a great fit. Responsibilities Wash and prepare boats for customer pickup. Inspect each boat using a written checklist to ensure our quality standards are met. Verify completed work and identify anything that needs attention before delivery. Safely move boats throughout our property. Communicate anything that doesn't look right to the Service Manager. Assist with maintaining a clean, organized showroom and facility. Requirements Experienced backing and maneuvering trailers. We are willing to train the right candidate in every other aspect of the job, but trailer backing is a foundational skill for this position. Willing to learn to safely operate our tractor for moving boats around our property. Able to repeatedly climb in and out of boats throughout the workday. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Mechanical aptitude and boating experience are a plus, but not required. Why Charleston Marine?
