Job Description

Lenoir City Marine - Lenoir City, TN Lenoir City Marine is looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Marine Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate is a skilled marine technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, has strong diagnostic capabilities, and can confidently work on boats, marine engines, and trailers. This position will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of boats and marine systems. The Lead Marine Technician will work on both inboard and outboard motors , as well as various boat systems and trailers.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain outboard and inboard marine engines. (Mercury/MerCruiser, Yamaha, Suzuki, Volvo Penta, Honda) Perform routine maintenance, multipoint inspections, and seasonal services. Install marine accessories and OEM upgrades. Complete work orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Clearly document and communicate diagnoses, suggested repairs, and parts required to complete a job. Collaborate and communicate professionally with technicians, service writers, management, and customers when needed. Help oversee workflows and provide technical guidance to other technicians, when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Previous marine technician experience required . Strong knowledge of both inboard and outboard marine systems. Experience diagnosing and repairing marine engines and systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a "good isn't good enough" mentality. Mercury certified technician preferred Valid driver's license.
