Posted 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary The technician will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine engines. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex engine issues while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on PT6 engines in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements. Diagnose and troubleshoot engine performance issues, disassemble components, and repair or replace defective parts. Conduct engine overhauls, borescope inspections, and hot section inspections (HSI). Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and other regulatory bodies. Use precision measuring instruments, tools, and diagnostic equipment to assess engine conditions. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure aircraft readiness and operational safety. Ensure all work is performed following safety protocols and best practices. Stay up to date with PT6 engine modifications, service bulletins, and technical advancements. Requirements 10 years of experience. A&P license Required PT6 factory training is required. This position will require working overtime and weekends as needed.
