Job Description
South Austin Marine has opportunities available for Marine Technicians for our growing Service Department. We are a well-established Boat Dealership that has been in business for over 50 years. South Austin Marine offers comprehensive health insurance, 401k retirement plan, profit sharing, paid holidays, vacation time and more. Compensation ranges from $80,000 plus per year based on previous experience, certifications, and training. Work hours are from 8:00 am-6:00 pm Mon-Fri and Saturdays during peak season. Job opportunity involves working on outboards, sterndrives, inboard engines as well as mechanical and electrical systems on bass boats, center console boats, sport boats and cruisers, and inboard ski boats. Previous experience and training on one or more of the following engine manufacturers is required: Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Evinrude, Mercruiser, Volvo, or Indmar.
Applicant Must have:
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Be prompt and dependable. Must work all required hours and days
- Previous experience and training with one or more of the engine manufacturers listed above
- Good troubleshooting and technical skills
- Computer skills
- Detail oriented and work well under pressure
- People oriented
- Team player
