401(k) Health insurance Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Workover Rig Shop Mechanic to join our busy repair shop. As a Shop Mechanic, you will assist in diagnosing and repairing issues with workover rigs performance and function. This could be on new or existing equipment. As a Shop Mechanic, you must have an in-depth understanding of all workover rig systems and components for various manufacturers. Experience is a plus. Bi-lingual is a plus but not a requirement. You will be working on rigs and components at our shop. The ideal candidate is skilled in communicating with co-workers, able to explain rig issues clearly and concisely and provide valuable advice. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair workover rigs in the shop or yard Carry out routine workover rig repair jobs such as brake adjustments, brake jobs, clutch repairs, hydromatic or disc repairs, drawworks repairs and anything else rig-related Conduct in-depth rig inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes Maintain accurate shop records and paperwork Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business Qualifications 1 year minimum experience is preferred but not required We will verify experience with previous or current employer Strong customer service and communication skills are required
