Overview We are seeking a dedicated Powersports Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of powersports vehicles, including ATVs and motorcycles. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, experience with engine systems, and a passion for powersports equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable dealership dedicated to quality service and customer satisfaction all in a heated and cooled shop. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, suspension, brake, and mechanical systems on ATVs and motorcycles using diagnostic tools and hand tools. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake repairs, and assembly of new vehicles. Utilize diagnostics and electrical diagnostics to identify issues accurately. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting to determine necessary repairs or adjustments. Use power tools and soldering equipment for repairs and component replacements. Assist in the assembly of new vehicles ensuring proper installation of parts and safety standards. Lift heavy components safely during repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Prior dealership experience working with powersports vehicles is highly preferred. Proven service technician experience with a strong understanding of engine systems. Hands-on experience with all-terrain vehicle repair, motorcycle repair. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics and electrical diagnostics. Mechanical knowledge related to suspension systems, powertrains, brakes, and general vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with motorcycle operation principles is advantageous. Experience with basic vehicle troubleshooting, assembly processes, soldering techniques, and the use of hand tools is essential. Strong customer service skills combined with mechanic experience to effectively communicate technical information. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs.
