Small Engine Mechanic

Virginia Outdoor Power Equipment Co. is looking for a skilled, motivated Small Engine Mechanic who takes pride in quality work and wants to build a long-term career with a company that values teamwork and strong customer relationships. We don't just fix equipment — we keep homeowners mowing and large landscaping companies running their businesses. Our mechanics play a critical role in the success of our customers.

What You'll Do:

Diagnose and repair lawn and outdoor power equipment Perform routine maintenance and preventative service Work on equipment for both homeowners and professional landscaping companies Communicate clearly with our Service Writers about repair needs and timelines Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area Take pride in workmanship and attention to detail

What We're Looking For:

Experience in small engine repair (2-cycle & 4-cycle) preferred Knowledge of lawn and outdoor power equipment Strong diagnostic skills Dependable, team-oriented mindset Ability to work efficiently during busy spring season A long-term team player who wants to grow with us If you're early in your career, we're willing to train the right person with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.
