Job Description
This job is for a local company established in 1947. This is for a full time position 40hrs/week. The candidate should be mechanically inclined and possess the necessary skills to trouble shoot issues with lawn and garden equipment. Perform routine engine maintenance, such as lubricating parts, replacing spark plugs, blades, reassemble and reinstall components following repairs. They should also be able to discuss equipment issues, parts needed, work performed with staff. Must be able to pass the forklift test, have your own tools and toolbox, have a current and valid driver's license. Must have a reliable mode of transportation and be able to report to work during some inclement weather. During our off season the candidate may be called upon to install equipment into/onto trucks and vans and/or help out in other areas as needed. The salary will be based on the candidate's experience, certifications, and licenses. This company offers Health, dental, eye insurance, 401K, vacation, paid holidays, paid uniforms, life insurance.
