Job Description

Munson Boats is seeking a Marine Mechanic to join our team in manufacturing welded aluminum boats for worldwide clients, including fire/rescue boats, research vessels, high-speed patrol boats, USCG-certified passenger boats, and more. Our boats are assembled in a state of the art production facility with radiant floor heat providing a comfortable work environment throughout the year. This is a full-time opportunity with a four-day workweek (Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts),allowing for a great work-life balance with a three day weekend every week. Why Join Munson Boats? You will join a crew of 3-4 persons who will be responsible for outfitting a vessel to final completion. We have a backlog of over two years of projects sold, offering stability and consistent year-round work for our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and integrate mechanical, electrical, navigation, communication, propulsion and plumbing systems using all brand new components. Work withdiesel and gasoline engines, pumps, hydraulics, generators, HVAC, and fuel systems Assemble and installsteering, control systems, and marine hardware Read installation instructions and interpret schematics and system diagrams Ensure systems meetsafety, performance, and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We're Looking For:
Experience in mechanical, electrical, or systems installation Knowledge ofengines, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Ability to read and work fromblueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
