Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Marine Service Technician, your role will be crucial in maintaining and repairing boats and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will use your expertise to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and other systems, delivering high-quality service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
 Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on marine engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components.  Conduct inspections to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.  Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently and effectively.  Install and configure new systems and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.  Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used.  Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations at all times.  Assist with customer inquiries and provide professional advice regarding maintenance and care.  Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain high customer satisfaction.  Perform additional duties as assigned.

 Deliver repairs and services to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.  Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and effective solutions.  Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
 Proven experience as a Marine Service Technician or in a similar technical role.  Strong knowledge of marine engine systems, electrical diagnostics, and general boat mechanics.  Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and handling equipment.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude. Safety is our top priority. The successful candidate must follow all safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a strong commitment to working safely at all times while operating tools and equipment and working in an active boat yard setting.
Pay:
$22.00 - $40.00 per hour
