Tire Technician Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive service, particularly in tire service and vehicle maintenance. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in all tire-related services. Responsibilities Perform tire installations, rotations, alignments, and repairs with precision and care. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes and inspections. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Diagnose automotive issues related to tires and provide appropriate solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Assist customers with inquiries regarding tire services and vehicle maintenance. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction. Handle heavy lifting as required for tire installation and removal. Experience Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair setting is preferred. Demonstrated mechanic experience with a focus on automotive diagnostics and service technician duties. Familiarity with various types of tires, alignment procedures, and vehicle maintenance practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Sales experience is a plus, particularly in promoting tire products and services. Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for tire handling.
