Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Alignment Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring vehicles are precisely aligned for optimal performance and safety. This hands-on position involves diagnosing alignment issues, utilizing specialized tools, and performing detailed adjustments to meet manufacturer specifications. Responsibilities Use mechanical knowledge and hand tools to perform wheel alignments on various vehicle types, including cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections to identify suspension and steering components that may affect alignment accuracy. Operate power tools and automotive service equipment safely and efficiently during the alignment process. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, brake inspections, and oil changes. Lift heavy components or vehicles safely using appropriate lifting equipment to access alignment points. Document all work performed accurately in service records and communicate findings clearly to team members or customers. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Experience Previous mechanic experience or automotive repair background preferred, with a focus on wheel alignment or suspension work. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including steering, suspension, and braking components. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment required. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during vehicle servicing. Prior auto service experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
