Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

• Job Summary
• As a Registered Dental Assistant at our dental clinic, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dental team to provide quality oral healthcare to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during dental procedures.
• Duties
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Take and record patients' medical histories and vital signs
• Provide patients with post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with insurance billing
• Requirements
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and diagnosis
• Proficiency in infection control protocols
• Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
• Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently
• Experience with 3D scanners is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Certification or Associate degree in Dental Assisting is
