In this role, you'll be at the forefront of vehicle maintenance, specializing in tire services and essential automotive repairs. Your mechanical skills and passion for automotive diagnostics will ensure every vehicle leaves our facility in top condition. We're looking for a motivated individual eager to grow their career in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. This paid position offers the chance to develop your mechanic experience. Duties Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely Perform wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle handling and tire longevity Conduct oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance to keep vehicles running smoothly Diagnose automotive issues using automotive diagnostics equipment and mechanical knowledge Assist customers by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and recommended services to promote sales Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times Support overall automotive service operations, including general repairs and preventative maintenance tasks Qualifications Prior dealership or automotive repair experience preferred, with a strong foundation in tire work Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment Experience with tire service, wheel alignment, oil changes, and general vehicle repairs Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday Service technician experience is highly desirable; a background in sales is a plus for customer interaction Mechanical knowledge combined with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques
