JOB SUMMARY
As a tire technician, you will be required to inspect and assess damaged or worn tires on fleet owned vehicles, replace or repair damaged tires, and balance or rotate tires. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform different types of tire repairs such as mount/dismount, flats, and tire replacement. Evaluation and inspection of tires on vehicles. Must be able to communicate with the Shop Manager and Shop supervisor for repairs needed and parts/supplies requests. Complete all tasks efficiently and safely. Maintain the work area clean and free of debris or objects. Follow thoroughly the safety rules and procedures. REQUIREMENTS
Experience with tractor-trailers and tire repairs. Own his small and basic tools. The company provides heavier tools such as jacks, bars, and impact wrenches. Follow thoroughly the safety rules and procedures. Must be able to work a changing schedule based on demand. Must be able to work on the field when required. Travel Required :
