Job Description
Join the Miller Bros Giant Tire team as a Mobile Press Technician /
Tire Technician General Information:
This position involves operating a fully outfitted mobile press truck to install solid forklift tires at customer sites. Experience is a plus, but no experience is required; training will be provided for the right candidate.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for handling customer equipment according to OSHA standards pressing and installing tires.
- Utilizing a hydraulic 200 TON Press
- Local travel requested to customers and company locations (via company truck)
- Communicate with the customer and provide a high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of company trucks, equipment, tools and customer facilities while working
- Other duties as required by the
Service Manager Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to lift, Push and Pull heavy tires Ranging from 100lbs to 150lbs throughout the day
- Ability to operate service equipment & company vehicles in a safe manner
- Ability to operate a forklift in a safe manner
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail
- Follow safety protocols and company policies
- Ability to work on a rotating, on call schedule to include nights and weekend shifts
- Pass a background check and drug screen test
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record
- Valid Driver's License and must be insurable to drive company vehicles
- Mechanically inclined
