Tire Technician Jimmie Crowder Excavating & Land Clearing, Inc. Jimmie Crowder Excavating & Land Clearing, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Tire Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing tires on a variety of heavy equipment, commercial trucks, trailers, and support vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
Mount, dismount, repair, and replace tires on heavy equipment, commercial trucks, trailers, and company vehicles. Perform tire inspections and identify wear, damage, or safety concerns. Maintain proper tire pressure and document tire service as required. Respond to service calls and assist with roadside tire repairs when needed. Safely operate tire service equipment and tools. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous tire technician or commercial tire service experience preferred. Experience working with heavy equipment and commercial truck tires is a plus. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
