Roadside Assistance Technician (1099 Independent Contractor - Pay Per Call)
MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS
Top Quality Roadside Assistance (TQRSA) - Atlanta Metro Area Top Quality Roadside Assistance (TQRSA) is seeking dependable, professional, and mechanically inclined Independent Contractors to provide roadside assistance services throughout the Atlanta metro area. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position and is paid per completed service call . This is not an hourly position . If you're reliable, enjoy helping people, have your own roadside equipment, and want to work with a growing company, we'd love to hear from you. Services You'll Perform Contractors may perform one or more of the following services: Tire Changes Jump Starts Vehicle Lockouts Fuel Delivery Battery Installation Basic Roadside Assistance Services Mobile Tire Services (Preferred) Experienced technicians may also perform: Mounting New Tires Mounting Used Tires Tire Removal Tire Installation Wheel Balancing Tire Plug & Patch Repairs Valve Stem Replacement TPMS Reset (Preferred) Mobile Tire Service at Customer Locations Applicants with experience performing complete tire replacements from start to finish are strongly encouraged to apply. Compensation Insurance Calls $20.00 per completed insurance service call +$10.00 Highway Hazard Fee (when applicable) +$5.00 Weather Fee (when applicable) Overnight Insurance Calls (12:00 AM - 4:00 AM) $25.00 per completed insurance service call +$10.00 Highway Hazard Fee +$5.00 Weather Fee Cash Calls 50% of the labor collected No Hazard Fee No Weather Fee Fuel Delivery Additional $40.00 for Regular Fuel Deliveries Additional $50.00 for Premium Fuel Deliveries Fuel receipt is required for reimbursement.

Every Wednesday (via Zelle) Active bank account required. Service Area TQRSA services the entire Atlanta Metro Area and surrounding cities. Technicians should be willing to travel approximately 30-60 minutes when dispatched. Schedule (WE

) You choose your availability. When you mark yourself available, you are expected to: Answer dispatch calls promptly. Respond to assigned jobs. Maintain communication with dispatch. Complete assigned service calls professionally.
Please note:
This is a pay-per-call position. Call volume varies based on customer demand. No minimum number of calls or income is guaranteed. Reliable contractors who consistently perform quality work typically receive more dispatch opportunities. Documentation Requirements (Required) Every completed service call must include clear documentation through TowBook.
Required documentation includes:
License Plate VIN Number (when available) Driver's Side Photo Passenger Side Photo Work Area Photos Before Service Photos During Service Photos After Service Photos of Equipment Used (when applicable) Clear photographs are required. Incomplete, blurry, or missing documentation may delay or prevent payment. Required Equipment Applicants must already own the following equipment before applying: Professional Low-Profile Jack (3-Ton Minimum) Lug Wrench or Impact Wrench Stripped Lug Nut Removal Kit Socket Set Jump Starter (Minimum 2500A) Lockout Kit (Air Wedges & Long Reach Tools) Portable Air Compressor Approved 2-Gallon Fuel Container Flashlight or Work Light Basic Hand Tools Reliable Vehicle Valid Driver's License Current Auto Insurance Smartphone with Reliable Data Service Equipment will be verified during the interview process. Preferred Qualifications (Mobile Tire Technician) Preference will be given to applicants who have experience performing complete tire replacements from start to finish.
This includes the ability to:
Remove the wheel from the vehicle. Dismount the old tire from the wheel. Mount a new or used tire onto the wheel. Balance the tire and wheel assembly. Reinstall the wheel. Properly torque lug nuts to manufacturer specifications. Verify tire pressure. Complete the service safely and professionally. Experience operating tire machines and wheel balancers is strongly preferred.
Pay:

⦁ Professional Low-profile jack (3-Ton minimum) ⦁ Stripped Lugnut remover kit ⦁ Lug wrench or impact wrench ⦁ Socket set with common lug sizes ⦁ Jump starter (Minimum 2500A) ⦁ Lockout kit (air wedges and long reach tools) ⦁ Portable air compressor ⦁ 2 Gallon Fuel can (approved gas container) ⦁ Flashlight or work light ⦁ Basic hand tools (Rubber Mallot/ Metal Hammer/ Etc.) Do you understand that TQRSA does NOT provide roadside assistance tools or equipment unless specifically approved by management? Do you have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance? Do you understand that this is a 1099 Independent Contractor position that is paid per completed service call and NOT an hourly position? Do you understand that call volume is NOT guaranteed and that your earnings are based on your availability, reliability, and customer demand? TQRSA operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Are you willing to accept dispatches during the availability you commit to? Are you willing to travel throughout the Atlanta Metro Area and surrounding cities, including trips of up to 60 minutes when dispatched? Do you have experience using TowBook dispatch software? Are you able to take clear, detailed before, during, and after photographs and upload all required documentation for every completed service call? Can you independently perform a complete tire replacement from start to finish, including removing the old tire, mounting a new or used tire, balancing the wheel, reinstalling it, and properly torquing the lug nuts? Approximately how many complete tire replacements have you performed? Are you comfortable performing roadside assistance services on highways, interstates, and other high-traffic roadways when necessary? Which city do you currently live in?
