Tire Technician Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial tire services and vehicle maintenance. This role involves working with hand tools and equipment to perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Starting pay is anywhere from $16 and up, depending on experience. Responsibilities Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs on commercial vehicles as well as automotive. Conduct thorough inspections of tires to assess wear and damage. Potentially perform road service calls on trucks, trailers, or tractors. Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively for tire service tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and offering recommendations related to tire maintenance. Assist in sales of tires and related products, promoting additional services as needed. Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tire technology. Qualifications Previous experience in a dealership or commercial tire repair environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting as required. Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment specific to tire service. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are a plus.
