PM Job Summary:
The Inside Tire Technician is responsible for mounting, dismounting and balancing heavy service truck tires, along with passenger and light truck tires on site at Parrish Tire. Employees in this position will be working both indoors and outdoors and must be focused on both safety and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions and Tasks:
Mount and dismount new/used and retreaded tires on heavy service equipment, passenger trucks and light duty trucks. Balance tires utilizing appropriate equipment. Communicate safety concerns, company vehicle issues and customer problems with service manager or store manager immediately. Mount and dismounting of new/used customer wheels from customer fleets. Responsible for various types of tire repairs. Understand customer base and profiles. Keep service area clean to maintain a safe work environment. Responsible for following all safety regulations, processes and procedures required by Parrish Tire Company, TIA, OSHA and NCDOL. Understand tire design and tread patterns. Must become (TIA) Certified This certification and training will be provided by Parrish Tire Company if not already obtained Any other duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience as a tire technician TIA Certified (Preferred)

Required Physical Abilities:
Physical requirements of this position may require a range of activities. These can include, but are not limited to: Lifting and carrying
  • the ability to lift and transport objects of specified weights, which may vary by job. For example, a job may require lifting up 25-50lbs regularly. Standing and walking
  • this position will require standing and walking for periods of time Bending and stooping
  • bending, stooping, or crouching are requiring to effectively preform essential duties of this position. Reaching and pushing/pulling
  • the ability to reach for items, push carts, or pull equipment will be necessary for daily activities. Sitting
  • there will be times this position will be needed to sit for prolonged periods of time.
This position will also be required to operate certain machinery and other equipment safely.

This position will require employees to work in certain weather conditions, such as heat, cold, as well as potentially confined spaces. Monday
