Tire Technician

Tire King, a premier auto service center located in Sussex, NJ, is looking for a full-time Tire Technician to join their growing team. Applicants should demonstrate ability to work safely and efficiently in a face-paced, service-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Inspect and identify tire repairs Perform patch repairs Repair, replace, mount, dismount and balance tires on a wide variety of personal, commercial, agricultural, and recreational vehicle makes and models Remove and replace tires in-shop or offsite (mobile) Drive and operate a service vehicle

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with Service Manager and customer
• Assist in maintaining and storing tire and parts inventory
• Keep service areas clean and organized
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Qualifications:

• One year automotive repair experience preferred; tire knowledge a plus
• One year customer service experience preferred
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 100 pounds
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer service
• Will train the right candidate

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Weekend (Saturday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm) availability

Pay:

• Starting at $18 per hour with compensation/performance review at 6 months and annually thereafter
• Overtime pay available at 1.

5x regular pay
