Job Description

Empire Workforce Solutions is hiring a Wheel & Brake I Technician for one of our clients in the aviation industry. This is a temp to hire opportunity in a manufacturing environment with a pay increase upon hire.
Pay & Schedule Starting Pay:
$19.50 per hour
Pay Increase:
Pay increase once hired permanently
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Interview Process:
A second interview with management is required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Disassemble, clean, and prepare aircraft wheels and brakes. Review work orders, part numbers, and serial numbers for accuracy. Follow technical manuals, safety procedures, quality standards, and FAA regulations. Operate cleaning, blasting, and related production equipment. Use precision measuring tools as required. Complete work accurately and efficiently while meeting production goals. Communicate with team lead and supervisors regarding work progress and any issues. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED. Must have a minimum of 1 year of Mechanical or technical experience. Ability to read and understand technical documents and instructions. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented manufacturing environment.
