Hours:
Monday
  • Thursday 2:30pm
  • 1:00am. 2 week training will be on day shift hours Monday
  • Friday 6:30am
  • 2:30pm. Key Responsibilities
  • Tire Lab Technician Complete mixing or testing of rubber compounds in a timely manner with attention to detail and quality.
Learn test methods, test equipment, test samples. Perform equipment/machine or reactor setup using a test request, specification, batch sheet or other input form. Verify & validate that the machine, test, sample are proper prior to initiating a test or experiment. Receiving and Checking in tires received from the warehouse as well as direct ships from the plants. Perform daily or weekly machine verification and safety checks. Operate manual, semi-automatic & automatic machinery/equipment & processes. Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Tire Lab Technician Mechanical and/or Chemical aptitude Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to operate both manual and semi-automated industrial machinery Ability to perform tasks or operate multiple equipment/machines within any work day Solid computer and basic math skills Education and Experience
  • Tire Lab Technician High School Diploma/GED is required Associate degree in a STEM-related field is preferred 1-3 years experience Prior experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or industrial facility preferred Benefits and Pay
