Job Description

Commercial Tire Service Technician Reports to: Store/Service Manager Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent Valid State Drivers License Able to be insured to operate company provided vehicles Available to work full time Must have dependable transportation Must be able to spend extended periods on your feet Must to able to lift 50-75 pounds on a regular basis Must have basic mechanical aptitude and follow and retain basic instructions Scope Assist Service/Shop manager with various duties. Performing tire installation and repair service on all types of auto, light truck, commercial(semi truck), farm and industrial tires on a timely basis. Eventually leading to after hours(24/7) road service installation and repairs with minimal or no supervision. Advise mangers of necessary shop and vehicle repairs. Goals Being able to service all aspects of the job independently with minimal or no supervision. Being able to evaluate unfamiliar processes and help create solutions to uncommon problems. Having the desire to help create both company and personal profitability. Duties/Responsibilities Consistently reporting to work on a daily basis with minimal absences. Performing tire repairs and installation on a safe and efficient basis. Communicate with management needed repairs or deficiencies in equipment or personnel. Asking, learning and (most importantly) retaining knowledge of the job and services and customer needs. #hc246367
