Starting at $20+ per hour, based on experience About AutoReflekt AutoReflekt is a growing mobile wheel and rim repair company serving customers and automotive dealerships throughout the Austin area. We specialize in repairing curb rash, scratches and other cosmetic wheel damage while delivering professional, like-new results. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented technician who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in producing quality work. About the Role As a Mobile Wheel Repair Technician, you will travel to customer homes, workplaces and dealership locations throughout Central Austin to repair and refinish damaged wheels. You will represent AutoReflekt in the field, so professionalism, communication and attention to detail are extremely important. This is a hands-on, outdoor position that is ideal for someone with automotive, painting, bodywork, detailing or general repair experience. Previous wheel repair experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate. Responsibilities Repair curb rash, scratches and cosmetic damage on alloy wheels Prepare wheels by sanding, filling, masking and cleaning damaged areas Match wheel colors and apply automotive paint and clear coat Use hand tools, power tools and wheel repair equipment Travel to customer and dealership locations throughout the Austin area Inspect completed repairs and maintain AutoReflekt quality standards Take before-and-after photos of completed work Communicate professionally with customers, dealership employees and team members Maintain a clean, safe and organized mobile work area Properly care for company tools, equipment and materials Work outdoors in varying Central Texas weather conditions Qualifications Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled jobs Strong attention to detail Comfortable working independently Able to follow established repair and safety procedures Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Good communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to lift and move wheels and equipment as needed Comfortable working outside for extended periods Automotive painting, bodywork, detailing or wheel repair experience is a plus What We Offer Starting pay of $20 per hour, based on experience Hands-on training in a specialized automotive repair trade Opportunity to develop valuable wheel repair and refinishing skills Consistent work with retail customers and dealership partners Opportunity to grow as AutoReflekt expands throughout Central Texas Supportive, locally owned company environment Tools and equipment provided Schedule This is a full-time, field-based position. Work Environment This is not a traditional indoor mechanic position. Most repairs are completed outdoors at customer homes, workplaces and automotive dealerships. Applicants must be comfortable working outside and traveling between job locations.
