Summary of Position:
Primary duties are to repair and maintain all tires for fleet vehicles and to assist mechanics with repair work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following, other duties may be assigned. 1. Complies with all Citibus policies and expectations and models Citibus values of Respect, Accountability, Trust and Professionalism in all aspects of job performance. 2. Repair all tires with flats, damage, or required grooving with lift capacity of minimum 150 pounds without assistance. 3. Monitor tire wear to ensure proper alignment is maintained. 4. Assist Class A, B, and C, Mechanics with repair work in general categories. 5. Weekly monitoring of tire wear on all equipment to ensure proper front-end alignments. 6. Repair tires that have low air pressure, are flat or need to be re-grooved on all vehicles. 7. Needs to maintain proper record keeping. 8. Assists in taking and going on road calls. 9. Makes brake repairs. 10. Some outside working hours may be required for special events and training.

- Must have a working knowledge of hand tools and equipment.
- Must have a working knowledge of tire mounting and de-mounting equipment and balancing.
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Level 3; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Level 3: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Level 2 Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, compound fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio, rate, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Level 3: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problemsinvolving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATION
Current Commercial Driver's License, or must be willing and able to attain a commercial driver's license (CDL) within 90 days of employment.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.

- They may be exposed to outside weather conditions including wet and/or humid conditions, or extreme heat.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
