Job Description
Southside Tire is looking for a Tire Service Technician . This is a full-time position. No experience necessary will train the right candidates. The service technician is a developmental service technician that is learning and able to perform a wide range of service functions such as car, truck, farm and OTR service job functions. Additional responsibilities include learning the ability to write up tires for the retread process, learning how to identify and report irregular tire wear and some knowledge on underlying causes. Time is primarily spent servicing customer accounts in house, and at customer job sites. Position is being groomed for the potential of a service technician II position. Must have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record. Starting pay is $20-23/ hr depending on experience. Southside Tire looks to promote from within the company. Most of our current employees have started at this position to become store managers or salesman. Our family owned company is a great place work and we take pride in taking care of each other. Must be insurable to drive company vehicles and have a valid drivers license.
