Job Summary As a Tower Technician within the Wireless Department, you'll play a vital role in our operations. Your responsibilities include daily team coordination, a safety-first mindset, organization, and training to ensure alignment with company objectives and standards. Key Responsibilities Climb, repair, maintain, and build communication towers. Installation, replacement, and repair of antenna systems equipment. Basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment. Identify and communicate hazards associated with: Tower Climbing and Construction equipment Working on or near energized lines and electrical equipment Analyze problematic situations and adopt an appropriate course of action. Follow instructions accurately and complete tasks as assigned. Recognize safety hazards and safely perform duties. Perform job duties in all weather conditions. Complete and submit Daily Reports and JSA (Job Safety Analysis) before each day's work. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Self-starter with the ability to work without direct supervision. Possess a valid driver's license (CDL preferred) and be able to pass the Motor Vehicle Records check, drug screening, and background check. Climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50 lb. load. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Maintain a consistent level of excellence in job performance and work ethic. Proficient in computer use. Travel for extended periods up to and including Overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays. Certifications Preferred OSHA 10 and or OSHA 30 Preferred BLS/ Wilderness First Aid Requirements Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
